If you like acai bowls, you’re going to like Everbowl! The central item on the menu is, of course, their bowls!
Kinda like acai bowls on steroids, they also have smoothies, salads, and overnight oats. When I went, I had to try a bowl. The menu includes many bowls to choose from. Some are acai-based, others have a base of pitaya (dragon fruit), graviola (also known as soursop or Brazilian paw paw), or acerola (also known as Barbados cherry).
I ordered the “Ace Ventura” which has acerola fruit blended with bananas, mango, spinach, and coconut milk. It’s then topped with gluten-free granola, bananas, blueberries, and coconut. A great thing at this place is you can totally customize your order including the toppings. When they are doing the toppings they take you down the line and you can add or subtract any you want. They really fill up the bowl with tons of fruit goodness!
On my bowl, I added additional toppings of kiwis, grapes, and dates. Funny enough, those less traditional toppings ended up being my favorite!! The dates have a really chewy texture that works so well with the fruity bowl! I really recommend them. As for the acerola, it was OK but I prefer the acai or pitaya.
If you’re a fruit lover like I am, you need to give this place a try. They also have some more hearty ingredients such as the peanut butter and cacao nibs on the “On a Date” bowl. They can also do almond butter instead if you prefer. If you want a health-giving fresh and quick meal while you’re out and about in Southern California, you’ll love it here!
